The Rusty brand seems as if it has been around as long as surfing itself. Founder Rusty Preisendorfer was creating surfboards for some of the top surfers in the 80′s when he decided to start his own brand. That turned out to be a good idea, and over the next 25 years he built one of the best surfing brands in the world. Rusty prides itself on maintaining its roots in surfboard design, but their clothing has driven the brand to international recognition, featuring the symbolic R dot insignia.
